Process Serving

Process Serving | Legal DocumentsProcess Serving is a service used to deliver important legal documents to individuals such as summonses etc. Our process servers at MIS serve civil process throughout the Metropolitan and Regional areas, providing our clients with speed, consistency and reliability. We serve process for a fixed fee and there are no hidden charges or excessive mileage.

All summonses including, minor case claims, means inquiry and default judgments will be attempted within 48 hours of receipt and our Proof of Service and Affidavit are returned promptly and apply with the respected court rules.

How do I serve the document when I can’t find them?

Often we receive enquiries for civil matters where people wish to serve documents on debtors whom they can’t find and the bailiff has exhausted their efforts to make contact with the individual. This can be very frustrating for the plaintiff as it seems the legal system is geared against them.

By utilising our Skip Tracing service, MIS can take the hard work out of finding them for you and take over from the bailiff. We have access to several databases that the public can’t access and have a high success rate when locating individuals.

Ideally, it would be great if you could supply as much information as possible when engaging MIS for a Skip Trace but often we can achieve great results with just a full name and their previous addresses and work history.

If you require the serving of legal documents please contact our office on 1300 120 612 for a full schedule of fees.
